Ryan Van Horne graduated from Pierrefonds Comprehensive High School in 1985 with a French Immersion certificate. He then took Police Technology at John Abbott College and completed the academic requirements for the degree at John Abbott. Moving east, he attended Saint Mary’s University in Halifax where he majored in political science and minored in student journalism (unofficially of course) and graduated with honours.
